Monterey Shopping

Del Monte Shopping Center. Situated between Monterey and Carmel, the Del Monte Center is an outdoor shopping venue with more than 100 diverse stores, casual restaurants, a grocery store, a multi-screen movie theater and a classic California garden. Anchored by Macy’s and Mervins, Del Monte offers a great selection of shopping and dining in a beautiful, seaside setting.

Old Monterey Market Place. Held every Tuesday, the Old Monterey Market Place features a variety of vendors and local restaurants in an open-air street fair. Farmers throughout California offer fresh fruits and vegetables, while vendors offer jewelry, clothing, handmade soaps, arts and crafts. This exciting weekly festival is held on Alvarado Street from 4-8 pm April to October, and 4-7pm November to March.
